Overview

During my first few weeks at the University of Cincinnati, I was highly strung and filled with self-doubt. The monumental decision of choosing a college landed me three and a half hours away from home surrounded by strangers and with more independence than ever before. As I became more familiar with the campus and people in my classes, I was able to enjoy the content I was learning as well as the many ways I was able to become more involved within the university as well as the city of Cincinnati. Throughout my first and second semester, I encountered many challenges, some of which were expected and others that were not. Nonetheless, having complete my first year at UC, I can confidently say that I chose the right university at which I will study and prepare for my future.
