Meredith Hilke

Hello! My name is Meredith Hilke and I graduated from the University Honors Program at University of Cincinnati. I earned a Bachelor of Social Work degree with a Criminal Justice minor. One of the biggest illustrations of growth during my collegiate career was my role as an Honors Bearcats Brunch presenter, speaking to nearly 700 prospective UC students and their families about the honors program. I also detailed my experiences within the program, encouraging them to utilize the experiential learning of UHP to shape their own collegiate journey. Although one challenge in college was being younger than most of my peers, I turned it into a personal challenge to go beyond what is expected of me and accomplish feats admirable at any stage of life. I found tremendous joy and pride in representing the University Honors Program as a UHP Ambassador for two years, utilizing my own experiences as a catalyst to educate others about the program. Reflecting on my time at UC has highlighted the importance of community and mentorship, adapting to change, and taking advantage of as many learning opportunities as possible. Above all, I'm incredibly excited by the vast opportunities ahead of me for both personal growth and professional exploration.
